Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow – Patch 0.5 Now Available for Meta Quest
A first patch for Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow is now available for Meta Quest users. This update includes various bug fixes and game enhancements. The patch addresses the following issues:
- Save System Improvements: The save system has been overhauled. The game now automatically saves progress at regular intervals (not just in the pause screen). This should prevent loss of progress when the game is forced to close, such as when the device runs out of battery.
- Ritual Chamber Black Screen Fix: A rare issue that caused some players to get stuck on a black loading screen when progressing to the Ritual Chamber mission has been resolved.
- Window and Wall Traversal Improvements: Player movement through windows and over walls is now significantly more reliable.
- Bookcase Interaction: A rare issue where bookcases would not allow player interaction has been fixed.
- Rewards Always Awarded: A rare bug that caused rewards to not be awarded has now been fixed.
- Improved Lighting: Fixed a lighting issue in the Prologue where visibility was sometimes severely limited.
Additionally, the team is working on fixing more bugs on Meta Quest, as well as on Steam and PlayStation VR2. A patch addressing these issues will be released later this week!
